19th century San Francisco firehouse with a 21st century aesthetic...Our client, since 1985, Sharon, an artist, used her creative powers to realize a beautiful and comfortable place to dwell with room for working and entertaining. One of the many unique qualities of the project was using a Madrone wood veneer that had a uniform grain pattern. This process involves taking our client to choose a particular, sequenced veneer that is then custom laid up for us to use for the cabinetry.
